Hello everyone and Happy Day-After-Christmas (aka Boxing Day, for the Anglophiles amongst you). I hope you had a very Merry Christmas — even if you didn’t celebrate — and that you spent it doing what you wanted with the people you wanted.
As you chillax from your reveries, please allow me to share the best holiday song I’ve heard in years: “Christmas in L.A.” by the minimalist funk band, Vulfpeck. Not the topic you’d expect from a self-proclaimed “half-Jewish post-geographic rhythm section formed in Southeast Michigan,” but don’t let that fool you. It’s rather spectacular.
So please join all the little children and all the big children for this fun song and video, featuring Theo Katzman on lead vocals and drums, special guest David T. Walker on guitar, and some cute dogs.
Thank you – this is a cool one indeed.
